Research participation is where people take part in a research study. Be Part of Research is a free service which makes it easy to find and take part in vital health and care research across the UK. It's easy to get involved. Simply sign up online and choose the health and care research that matters to you. You will be sent details of approved studies that match your interests to decide if you want to take part.

Research Involvement is an active partnership between patients, carers and members of the public with researchers that influences and shapes research. There are a number of different ways you can support Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) in research. This may include volunteering to help researchers develop or run their projects, or becoming a Patient Research Ambassador or Research Champion. Learn more about Public Involvement.
