Assessment and Inspections

Quality is at the heart of everything we do; and to be rated ‘Good’ for the safety, effectiveness, responsiveness, care and compassion of our services is a credit to our amazing staff.

The Trust was pleased to host a team from our regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in March and April 2018 as part of their planned programme of inspection visits. We are incredibly proud to report that theinspection team rated the Trust ‘Good’ in all areas inspected, as summarised below.

In addition, the Inspection Team rated our Dental Services ‘Outstanding’ in relation to it’s assessment of whether these services were caring.

These ratings reflect the innovation, hard work and commitment demonstrated by our staff on a daily basis.

The CQC is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. It makes sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care, encouraging care services to improve.
