by Rachel Everett | Apr 11, 2024
This award is an opportunity for patients, families, visitors, and Trust colleagues to say ‘thank you – you made a difference’ to a member of staff or a team for anything (however small!) that helped make their experience of our services better.

We're delighted to announce that our February ‘Shine a Light’ winner is:

Laura, Health Visitor and Kelly, Infant Feeding Team, Cambs CYP

February 2024 - Kelly Akers and Laura Cornwell (1)
Laura and Kelly were nominated by a service user for their support. The service user said "As a first-time mum everything can be so daunting especially with my history of baby loss and fertility trouble. But Laura made my journey on this a lot easier especially postpartum. Kelly is amazing! my breastfeeding journey continued because of her and her diagnosing my babies tongue tie".

What a lovely nomination, well done!

Other nominations this month:

Mary Mugo, Administration Support Lead, Luton treatment centre. Mary was nominated by Maura McShane for being an exceptionally caring lead.

Claire Gates, Special Needs Nursery Nurse, Bedford. Ruth Rust nominated Claire for the constant support and consistency she provides to the SEND service. Ruth said: "Nothing is too much trouble and Claire's knowledge and enthusiasm for her job is always evident".
