From the smallest gesture that made your day to something that you’ll remember for a lifetime ... let us know!
 
Whether it is someone involved in your care, someone that made a difference when you visited us, or perhaps you want to recognise a fellow colleague within the Trust, just fill in the nomination form and we’ll do the rest. 
 
Every month, our panel will choose one member of staff or a team as the ‘shine a light’ award winner.  

Teams will be presented with a voucher for £50 and individual winner's will receive £25.  We will also promote their story through our website and newsletters, along with a summary of everyone that was nominated.

October Shine A Light Winner - Linda Baulk

This award is an opportunity for patients, families, visitors, and Trust colleagues to say ‘thank you – you made a difference’ to a member of staff or a team for anything (however small!) that helped make their experience of our services better.

We are delighted to announce that our October ‘Shine a Light’ winner is:

Linda Baulk, 0-19 HCP Administrator


Linda was nominated by a service user, for the way she had supported the family during a challenging time. The service user advised that her 'anxiety was sky high' and Linda provided reassurance and kindness and was non judgmental.

Nominated by: Jeanette Gowing
Thomas was nominated by Jeanette for the way he "consistently champions for his patients." Jeanette said "Thomas has also attended multiple training sessions with us and always works hard and interacts to improve his professional knowledge to the benefit of colleagues and patients".

Staff Member: iCaSH Peterborough
Nominated by: Adult Safeguarding Team
The iCaSH Team were nominated by the Adult Safeguarding Team for the way they consistently champion the 'safeguarding is everyone's business' ethos and have always made contact with the safeguarding team when required. 

Staff Member: Aderonke Odumade
Nominated by: Rebecca Bedford
Aderonke was nominated by Rebecca Bedford for the way she has provided continuity and stability to the team. Leading from the front, tackling challenges which have been insurmountable at times, and has shown commitment to both her colleagues and to the delivery of outstanding care to children and families. 

Staff Member: JON Administration Assistants
Nominated by: Julie Norton and Eden Gerard
The JON Administration Assistants were nominated by Julie Norton and Eden Gerard for the exceptional way that they have worked as a team when under exceptional pressure. The have made such a difference within the team which has meant freeing up time for clinical and senior colleagues.

Nominated by: Fiona Scarlett
Fiona nominated Amelia for her fantastic commitment to her work with children with speech, language and communication skills. Fiona stated "Amelia is frequently mentioned by name in patient feedback and is highly respected by the families she supports and colleagues within the service."

Staff Member: Ashleigh Gebbie
Nominated by: Catherine Allison
Catherine nominated Ashleigh for the award for the outstanding way that Ashleigh had worked within a challenging situation showing how skilled she is at working with parents and carers to provide the best support for their child.
