Help us thank our amazing staff

 
From the smallest gesture that made your day to something that you’ll remember for a lifetime ... let us know!
 
Whether it is someone involved in your care, someone that made a difference when you visited us, or perhaps you want to recognise a fellow colleague within the Trust, just fill in the nomination form and we’ll do the rest. 
 
Every month, our panel will choose one member of staff or a team as the ‘shine a light’ award winner.  

Teams will be presented with a voucher for £50 and individual winner's will receive £25.  We will also promote their story through our website and newsletters, along with a summary of everyone that was nominated.

September Shine A Light Winner - Jen Wagner

This award is an opportunity for patients, families, visitors, and Trust colleagues to say ‘thank you – you made a difference’ to a member of staff or a team for anything (however small!) that helped make their experience of our services better.

We are delighted to announce that our September ‘Shine a Light’ winner is:

Jen Wagner, Assistant Practitioner, Cambs 5-19 School Nursing Team

Jen was nominated by Veronica Jacquard and Abi Mauger, for the way she went above and beyond to support the entire school nursing team. The high level of knowledge she holds and the compassion she demonstrates to all patients is brilliant. Veronica and Abi said "She has always supported us by providing learning opportunities, encouraged us and praised us for the work we’re doing. It is a pleasure to work and learn from you, thank you Jen!"

Nicky was nominated by Gemma for the ways she had helped her team, always with a smile on her face and being made to feel at ease when asking the silliest of questions. Gemma stated "we would be in a muddle without you."

Staff Member: Maureen (Mo) Sayer

Maureen was nominated by Dushyant for the exceptional way that she supported a patient who had disclosed a history of  sever and prolonged abuse. Maureen, arranged ongoing care and further healthcare initiatives for the patient.

Ashley was nominated by Nicola for the way shehas worked hard to improve the appointment process for initial health assessments for our children in care placed by Luton, Bedford and Central Bedfordshire local authorities.

Su was nominated by Nadine stating "Su makes a difference every single day to help iCaSH deliver outstanding patient care. She has worked tirelessly in the background calling and booking patients to support the Monkey Pox vaccination process on top of her daily administration tasks. She is always helpful, friendly and supportive."
