Friends of North Cambs Hospital

The staff and patients at North Cambs are indebted to their Friends, who have worked tirelessly for over 50 years raising funds to support the various wards and departments at the Hospital.

Established in 1953, the Friends Committee is currently chaired by Miss Eileen Plater, MBE who, even in her 80th year of age, plays a very active role in the Friends’ many annual events, including barbecues, coffee mornings, sponsored activities and tombolas.

Friends membership costs a minimum of just £1 a year – if you would be interested in learning more or becoming a member please contact any member of the hospital admin team for more information, on 01945 488071.
