Doddington Community Hub lies in the heart of the Fens and provides a wide-range of services to local people including thousands of outpatient and diagnostic attendances each year.

Services provided on the site by Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust are:

There are different clinic days for Cardiology, Diabetes and Respiratory which provide all necessary care closer to home and in one place, avoiding the need to travel to the main hospital sites. This provides access to outpatient clinics alongside diagnostics, rehabilitation services and also a Community Hub.

  • Dermatology (associate specialist led)
  • Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) 
  • Endocrinology 
  • Gynaecology 
  • Lymphoedema Clinic
  • Urogynaecology

A busy X-Ray Department also operates 9am to 5.45pm, Monday to Friday, and 1-4.45pm Saturday and Sunday.

The Friends of Doddington Hospital 

The hospital is well supported by the Friends of Doddington Community Hospital.  The Friends are committed to raising money for extra equipment and in the past they have provided a variety of additional comforts and amenities that improve the quality of life for our patients. They kindly provide a hospital shop in the main foyer and any funds raised are used to support the work at the Hospital (shop is currently on hold due to Covid restrictions). Items purchased over the last few years include a slit lamp, treadmill, exercise bike, adjustable couch and many more items. 

The following volunteers also provide valuable support to patients attending clinics:

  • Isle of Ely Society for Blind 
  • Volunteer Drivers
