In 2011 we undertook an extensive public consultation on our aspiration to become one of the first Community Foundation Trusts in the country.  Thank you to the hundreds of local people that responded.    Responses were overwhelmingly in support of our proposals and we are now continuing through the assessment processes to reach Foundation Trust status in 2012.   

In the meantime, we have recruited over 2,000 local people to become Members of our aspirant Foundation Trust and to make a real difference to local community health and social care services.  As Members you can be engaged in our work as much or as little as you wish - from simply receiving a regular newsletter to taking part in major service redesign projects.

Community based health and social care services are fundamental to the success of an NHS that gives people more choice and control over their health care.   We look forward to continuing to work with Cambridgeshire, Luton, Peterborough and Suffolk residents to ensure our services provide the very best care and treatment for each and every individual that uses our services.
