Dreamdrops

Dreamdrops – Huntingdonshire Children’s Charity

Dreamdrops makes a real difference to children and families who use hospital or specialist children’s health facilities.

Dreamdrops was set up with the aim of raising money to buy all those little (and large) extras that are not covered by NHS public funds but which make a hospital stay more comfortable - or less stressful - for children and their families.

The charity fundraises for children being nursed in the local community, Children's Mental Health Services, children in the Hinchingbrooke Hospital A&E department, Holly Ward and the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) along with  parents and front-line staff.

From play equipment for hospitalised children and those awaiting their appointments to a sensory garden at the hospital and sensory equipment, Dreamdrops has raised the necessary money to buy items and invest in projects that make a difference.

The charity also helps to support the local Collins Club - supporting families with autistic children, provides age appropriate support packs for local children and their families and have recently sent support packages to NHS staff based in hospital and in the local community.
