Safeguarding Children - Luton

The Safeguarding Children Service for Luton includes a child protection team and a Looked After Children team of dedicated nurses and administrators.

The Child Protection team safeguards and promotes the welfare of children and young people by providing advice, support and training to all staff employed by Cambridgeshire Community Services.

The Looked after Children (Health) team works in partnership with the Office of Children and Young People Service - Click on the link for more information.

Both teams work with other agencies such as police, social care, education and other health providers to meet the Every Child Matters outcomes. Joint working and sharing appropriate information with other agencies who are involved with safeguarding children is important to meet the needs of children.
