How to Refer

How to refer

Our drop-ins and Early Advice Sessions are for pre-school age children with difficulties primarily in the area of speech and language development.

If you child has difficulties in a wider range of developmental areas e.g. with mobility, eating, interaction, please discuss whether an Early Help Assessment would be more appropriate with your Health Visitor or Early Years setting.

For school aged children, school teams are required to complete Request for Involvement Form and discuss with their link therapist. If there are concerns about the child's language development, it is recommended that the Language Screening be completed. If there are concerns about the child's speech sound development, it is recommended that the Speech Screen Pictures and Record Form be completed.

The staff are wonderful; the receptionists were polite and efficient, the nurses I have seen, were incredible.
