We're delighted to announce that our March ‘Shine a Light’ winner is:
Mantas Stanapedis, ICC and EPRR Co-ordinator
Mantas was nominated by Clare Jaggard and Janine Elsegood for his willingness to help them with any number of tasks. They stated "We always feel he goes above and beyond to assist anyone who needs a bit of help."
What lovely nominations, well done Mantas!
Other nominations this month:
Sarah Spillett -Family Nurse, Family Nurse partnership
Sarah was nominated by Lisa Ives for showing initiative to support young parents to quit smoking. Sarah designed a quitting card in the voice of their child/baby. This has now been rolled out as standard practice across the service and is an amazing initiative.
Emma Smith, 0-19 Duty Desk Administrator, Oak Tree Centre
Emma's nomination was made by Helen Beer. Helen wanted to acknowledge the calm and compassionate way that Emma had worked with a mum who was in distress. Emma used her initiative to ensure the best care was given to the mum, in line with 'MECC'.
Kerry O'Leary, Occupational Therapist, Redgrave Children's Centre
Kerry was nominated by a service user for the friendly and patient manner used when engaging with her daughter. Continuously explaining her findings and what this meant for the child.
iCaSH Team, Lowestoft
Lauran Nicol is the Clinical Nurse Manager for iCaSH Lowestoft and she wanted to nominate the whole team for the way they support each other, share their accomplishments despite the normal ups and downs. Lauren says "there is always plenty of laughter but at the same time they all work to such a high standard of care."
Amber Coogan and Priscilla Greenwood, Health Visitors, Cambs CYP
Amber and Priscilla were nominated by Lily Mitchell. Lily was incredibly impressed with the way that Amber and Priscilla had come together to provide joined up care for a safeguarding child when the child moved out of original area. Lily said "At a time when the HV service is strained and professionals often try to reduce their workload, these 2 professionals worked jointly with the best interest of the child at heart."
Kim Chenery, Team Manager, Wisbech
Kim was nominated by Deborah Myring for being an amazing manager. After a recent period of sickness Kim went above and beyond to think of way to make Deborah feel happy, secure and comfortable both during the period of sickness and on her return to work.
Roxy Howe and Rebecca Walsh, 0-19 School Screeners, CYPHS
Hayley Prest nominate Roxy and Rebecca for the way that they have worked tirelessly to improve outcomes for children. During recent staff shortages within the service Roxy and Rebecca didn't hesitate to volunteer to do more, despite their own busy workloads.
