Liz Marshall, Health Visitor, Norfolk - Long Stratton, Harleston and Loddon
Liz was nominated by one of the mothers she cares for who felt instantly supported by her. She said: “Her approach to care is outstanding. She is professional, hilarious and the kindest soul.
“After the birth of my daughter I felt like I had been given a mixed bag of information from the midwifery team that visited, with no consistency of seeing the same face. As I opened the door to Liz on my first visit post birth, I was so excited to see her and once again she settled all the anxiety I was experiencing.
“Words cannot express the amount of gratitude I feel towards her. She really is the gold standard the NHS aims for.”
Huge congratulations to Liz!
Also nominated this month:
St Neots Health Visiting Team based at Dumbelton Medical Centre, St Neots
The team were nominated by Jayne Jenkinson and Alison Murray for being outstanding at welcoming and supporting a large number of pre-registration students to their team. They never moan about the high volume of learners, and they will always accommodate them in their busy lives. With the number of staff in the team being somewhat diminished in recent months due to numerous factors, they were amazed by their "can do" approach.
The whole team support learners and they always smile and ensure the students have a very positive experience in the service. This has been shown by the wonderful formal evaluations received, and also by the more personal words of thanks that the team receive in cards and thank you notes. “Thank you to you all for being such positive role models and ensuring the students have a valuable and positive learning experience.”
Huge congratulations to you all.
