Other nominations included:

Delyth McGrath, Physiotherapy Assistant, MSK Physio Team
Delyth has worked as a physiotherapy assistant at Hinchingbrooke Hospital since April 1999. Over these 16 years she has seen and been part of many operational and team changes. Not once has there been anything that has been too much problem for Delyth. She approaches all tasks, challenges and changes with a positive and effective manner. Delyth has been involved in setting up many new projects and smoothly overseeing the administration and resources that run alongside the clinical demands, such as the new Shoulder rehab classes and Outcome Measures project with ongoing maintenance.

Delyth has a valuable amount of knowledge with the day-to-day operational needs of the whole department and across the county-wide patch and the physio team is hugely appreciative of her steady and reliable background work to keep the department fully stocked and up and running. When tasked for something out of her normal routine, Delyth goes beyond what was asked to make sure that the best outcome is available for both clinician and patient care. She has excellent product market research skills to get the best of what is needed. Delyth is a fabulous part of the physio team and when she retires next year she will be a huge loss to everyone.

Lizzie Hunt, Team Leader, Children's SLT. Speech & Language Therapy
We would like to nominate Lizzie for her continuous hard work and support in focusing on how we do the best job we can for children who have speech, language and communication difficulties, their families, other professionals and our own team. Her commitment to achieving positive outcomes, always striving to improve efficiency and effectiveness, make her an inspirational role model for all of our team for service quality and improvement. Lizzie always makes time to ask team members how things are no matter how busy she is; she is always extremely supportive at work, particularly if people have commitments or issues outside of work.

People describe her as kind, patient, a good listener, persistent, and supportive. She always maintains such a positive and cheerful approach, even in the light of the significant challenges we deal with every day. Lizzie always looks for a resolution to problems, with the best interests of our service users and our team at heart, while keeping us and herself feeling positive. She always looks to the solution rather than the problem and makes you feel that it will all be ok! Even when under pressure she always has time for the team and ensures that she makes you feel valued and appreciated.

Well done to you all!
