Items discussed in public board usually include:

We aim to publish the agenda and meeting papers 5 working days before each meeting. They will be published under board papers.

Submitting questions for the board

If there is time at the end of the meeting, the Chairperson will invite members of the public to address the board or ask a question. The questions will be addressed by the Chairperson. If it is appropriate, your question answered by a relevant member of the board.

Questions should be about matters under consideration or matters of public interest.

We may not be able to answer a question fully in a public session. For example, if it may disclose personal details. Responses to questions will either be:

  • posted on this webpage
  • included in the published minutes

Wherever possible, please email questions to the board in advance. This helps us to find the relevant information to answer your question.

Email questions: ccs.groupboard@nhs.net

When sending a question, please use the subject heading 'Trust Board meeting question'.

Private board meetings

There are board meetings that are closed to press and the general public.

We will only discuss items in private session to protect confidentiality. This includes:

  • cases that may identify people who use our services, carers or staff members
  • commercially-sensitive information and legal advice
