Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust celebrates best in class NHS staff survey results

by Rachel Everett | Mar 13, 2025

The national NHS staff survey results have been published today and once again reflect the compassionate, supportive and inclusive culture we've created together at Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust.

The chart below summarises the results (benchmarked against 14 other community trusts nationally) that are aligned to the seven elements of the People Promise, which sets out in the words of our NHS people what would make the NHS the best place to work, plus two additional themes: staff engagement and staff morale.

1,627 members of staff (61% of our workforce) completed the survey, and our results are the dark blue columns below and show that:

Staff rated CCS the best performing community trust nationally for eight of the nine themes:

We are compassionate and inclusive
We are recognised and rewarded
We each have a voice that counts
We are safe and healthy
We are always learning
We work flexibly
We are a team
Morale

For staff engagement, we were just 0.1 mark below the best performing community trust nationally.

“However, despite having consistently good staff survey results, we are not complacent and recognise it is a challenging time for the NHS and there is always room for improvement.

“As always, we will be reviewing these results with our staff networks, local staff side representatives and service leads, and will work together to develop a focused plan to ensure we’re doing all we possibly can to further enhance the working lives and wellbeing of all our people.”
