Adults registered with a GP in Luton who have cancer diagnosis.
Service provided include:
Our Cancer Care Services are part of an integrated model, working closely with Luton and Dunstable Hospital and also support all Luton patients with a cancer diagnosis regardless of where having treatment.
Our service focuses on two main clinical areas:

A Macmillan community oncology clinical nurse specialist service that supports cancer patients with complex needs who are on a Living with and Beyond Cancer pathway, and provide access to psycho-social care within the community setting. Depending on your clinical need you will be seen at home (excluding care homes), or in a clinic at Luton Treatment Centre Vestry Close.

Central Venous Access Devices (CVADs) service supported by a CNSs and Navigator CVAD nurse. Depending on your clinical need you will be seen at home (excluding care homes), or in a clinic at Luton Treatment Centre Vestry Close.
Both of the above services are supported by a consultant psychologist, family therapist and a welfare benefits advisor (where appropriate). Please note that we are unable to see patients in care homes.

- in the patient’s own homes including care homes
- community based clinics.
