Community Linkworker Service

The Community Linkworker Service aims to provide a South Asian Interpreting Service for the health professionals employed within Luton community services to ensure maximum health outcomes are achieved for the diverse communities residing in the Luton locality.

Who can use the service:

This service is accessible to all South Asian speaking users of Luton Community Services.

The service is based at:

Futures House
1st Floor
Marsh Farm
Luton LU3 3QB

but is provided at any location care is delivered by health professionals within Luton Community Services.

Service provided include:

The Interpreters who are from a South Asian background and are fluent in one or more South Asian languages, for example Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.  All languages available Mon to Fri until 3pm.

Friday - Bengali and Urdu speaker is available to 3pm.

School Holidays - one linkworker who speaks Bengali.
